Wow Jess, you are a breath of fresh air!! Weightloss is a roller coaster and a minefield all rolled into one. What you should and shouldn't eat, what supplements you should or shouldn't take, vitamins, drinks.....then there's the social media, algorithms sending you more and more and more. Everything is utterly over complicated, confusing and terrible for mental health. BUT - having followed you for a while and reading this post has given me hope! I've lost 2.5st in a year and it's been a hard slog. A Dr recently said it might just be fluid and muscle and not actual fat 😡. I was like WTAF!!! The day after, I saw your post on your app launch and it was fate!! So let's do this, together, every single one of us. It's our own journeys, in our own time. Thank you Jess and good luck to you all xxxxxx

Number one hit me hard, people just don’t get it at all. It’s so hard when everyone around you has never had to diet and just doesn’t understand the process. (No shame every body is different) but support is so essential!

I have been dieting for a while and always seem to fail when doing calorie counting. I am loving the progress you have made and can’t wait to try your meal plans. How many calories per day did you start with?

This was the positivity I needed! Been feeling so down and out about my weight loss journey at the minute and have become OBSESSED with the scales! This article has really opened my mind to so many things. And as someone who hasn’t got a big sister, the weight loss big sister comment has made me! Let’s do this!!đŸ€

Thank you so much for this, I’m 54 been dieting all my life, I have fibromyalgia and I am now registered disabled so struggle with any kind of exercise, I am now at my heaviest but I’m going to follow your advice and your recipes to see if I can change this xxx

Thank you so much lovely - I really hope it helps! It's a really hard journey, and my mum actually also has fibromyalgia and I can see how debilitating it can be. You're doing amazingly, small changes all add up and slow and steady will always win the race xxx

I agree with all of these so much! I’m two stone down and have been doing it at the same time as my partner who has lost DOUBLE the amount in the same time (bloody men) 😂 but I have done it slower and more consistent and now don’t feel overwhelmed at the thought of maintaining where I did before. Two more stone to go but healthy habits over the number đŸ€ so well written Jess!
