Cheesy Bacon & Mash Bakes

So these bakes are the perfect easy meal as sometimes you just need mash and beans 😂 they’re so simple, but so delicious and perfect reheated in the oven or air fryer the next day 🤤

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Spray a pan well with some cooking spray then add in your onions; cook over a medium to high heat until the onions have softened and are brown at the edges.

Step 2

Add in your bacon and fry for a few minutes until cooked through. Remove from the heat.

Step 3

Add your bacon and onions to a bowl along with your cheese, mash, garlic granules and a generous pinch of salt and pepper; mix well and leave to the side to cool slightly.

Step 4

Cut each of your rolled pastry sheets into six even squares, add some of your filling onto half of them, then pop the 2nd square of pastry on the top. Try to keep the filling as central as you can, and press down to encase it.

Step 5

Next take a fork and press around the edges to seal them, use the fork to gently press a couple of holes into the top of each pastry, then brush over the beaten egg.

Step 6

Bake at 180c fan for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crisp.

Step 7

Serve with beans or on their own and then dive on in.
