French Onion Mince and Gravy Stew

So two of my ultimate comfort foods are a French onion soup and a mince and gravy stew, and when you put them both together and top them with CRISPY CHEESY garlic bread…lovelies it’s just the easiest and cosiest comfort dinner 🤤

Nutrition

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Spray a pan well with some cooking spray then add in your onions; add in a pinch of salt and allow to cook over a medium to high heat for around 10 to 15 minutes, until browned and fully soft.

Next add in the mince and fry for a further few minutes until browned, before adding in your thyme, Worcestershire sauce and a good pinch of pepper.

500 g Beef mince

1 tsp Dried thyme

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Step 3

Next add in your gravy, stir, and allow to bubble to thicken slightly before topping with your garlic bread.

30 g Beef gravy granules

1 Garlic bread baguette

Step 4

Sprinkle over the cheese, then bake at 200c fan for 15 minutes, or until crispy and golden.

60 g Cheddar cheese

Step 5

Then simply serve up with some chives, green veggies and extra gravy, and enjoy.
