Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Spray a pan well with some cooking spray then add in your onions and chicken; season with salt and pepper and allow to cook over a medium to high heat until the onions have softened and the chicken is a little brown. It doesn’t need to be fully cooked through.

This was yummy. I wanted something easier for today instead of the usual Sunday roast and this did not disappoint. I read the reviews and I agree less milk so I used 230ml which I just added slowly and mixed. But a lovely simple pie but ladled with flavour.

This has become a firm family favourite, even for the picky eater in our family. Usually use around 250ml of milk as we like the sauce a bit thicker, and I have tried it with hashbrowns topped with grated cheddar on the top instead of mash. Yum!
