Creamy Peppercorn Chicken

One of my favourite things to order when I’m on holiday is chicken in pepper sauce, so this is my midweek version and it’s so good. I love mine served with mash and some green veggies, or it’s also great with rice or a stack of chunky chips.

Notes

if you’d like a thicker sauce then simply add a 1 tsp of cornflour, mixed with a dash of water, to the sauce alongside the cream

Personally I would do this next time with chicken stock instead of beef, I feel like the beef stock is too rich for it, beautiful non the less

Absolutely delicious! I made a cornflour slurry to thicken the sauce but would gladly have it without to feel like I have “more” of it as it tasted so yummy. I just eyeballed the pepper and just kept adding to our flavour preference. Will be a staple in our house 😊 xx
